He collaborates again with inspiration and Oscar winner Emma Stone
«Bugonia» is the name of the new film of the multi-awarded Greek director George Lanthimos and is set to open in U.S. theaters in November 2025, according to distribution company Focus Features.
The film is based on his sci-fi comedy South Korea’s “Save the Green Planet!” 2003 year Jang Jun-Wan. Emmy Award winner Will Tracy’s script is about “two young men obsessed with conspiracy theories who kidnap the powerful CEO of a large corporation who is convinced it is an alien intent on destroying the earth.”

Once again sir Lanthimus collaborates with inspiration and Oscar winner Emma Stowe nas well as the Cannes award-winning star “Types of Kindness» Jesse Plimons.
According to Deadline, Focus Features has taken over the film in America, Universal Pictures in the rest of the world and CJ ENM in Korea.
The Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe will be produced through Element Pictures in association with Stone For “fruit tree”. Ari Aster, Lars Knudsen and Correct For the company “Square Peg” and Mike Lee and My Jerry For ‘CJ ENM’ co-sponsored by Fremantle.
