Deputy Minister of Achaean Culture Jason Fotila into MOMus – Museum of Modern Art – Kostakis Collection… And as he informed us via fb:
I represented the Greek government at the opening of the exhibition “Pablo Picasso: Exile and Nostalgia” in the MOMus-Museum of Modern Art-Costaki collection.
The exhibition tells the story of Pablo Picasso’s close relationship with his barber and friend, the exiled resistance fighter Eugenio Arias, and illuminates the turbulent period of the war and its aftermath (1936-1952).
It should be noted that this exhibition is part of our collaboration with the Malaga Museums, since more than 400 works from the Kostakis collection are already presented in the Colección del Museo Ruso of that city.
Acting in synergy with internationally recognized museums is a pillar for the promotion of citizens’ culture and one of the main goals of the Ministry of Culture.
