“Every Thursday Mr. Green”: Second year of success since October

Starring Giorgos Konstantinou and Apostolis Totsikas

Due to its great artistic and commercial success, Jeff Barron’s multi-award-winning masterpiece Mr. Green every Thursday returns to the ARGO Theater for a second year.

It is signed by the direction Kostas Gakiswe see them when they are in the lead roles George Konstantinou and Apostoli Totsika in a performance recital that wowed the audience Athens and Thessaloniki.

A few words about the project:
A lonely New Yorker, retreating to his Manhattan apartment after the death of his wife, Mr. Green receives a visit from a young man who works for a large multinational company. This relationship will change them both forever. It will take everyone out of their comfort zone, threaten their superficial certainties, soften their thorns.

These two characters, so familiar to all of us, old Green and young Ross, brought together by a slight accident, will go the whole human way, from joyful laughter to tears of the most redemptive emotion. Together, they will bridge the gap and become—deeply and irrevocably—kin.

The play is an award-winning hymn to diversity that has been performed in more than 50 countries. A contemporary story that suggests human grace as the ultimate weapon of resistance to the atrocities of the past and the oppression of the present. Towards the two lonely lights that meet to emerge from the shell together.
