American rock legend Bruce Springsteen is now a member of the club of musicians who are worth more than a billion dollars, according to Forbes magazine, including Rihanna, Jay Z and Taylor Swift.
Born in New Jersey, the voice of the US working class, the “boss” of rock has accumulated a fortune over the decades, which is now worth $1.1 billion, Forbes writes.
Since his first album “Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ” (1973), Bruce Springsteen has sold 140 million albums worldwide, won 20 Grammys and Oscars, and his memoirs have become bestsellers in bookstores.
The singer of “Born in the USA” and “Dance in the Dark” increased his fortune significantly by selling the rights to his songs to Sony in 2021 for $500 million.
At the age of 74, the ageless “boss” of rock still amazes his fans and plans concerts until 2025.
