Horse music and dance of Megaros in summer and autumn evenings (“July of Song and Dance”, July 20-24, 2024 and “Music of the Autumn Forest”, September-November 2024), in the cities and remote villages of North Evia (Agia Anna, Kerasia, Kehries, Kyrinthos, Limni, Mantoudi, Prokopi, Rovies), with the participation of Dimitra Galani, Paulina Voulgaraki, Kostas Ageris, Thodoris Kotonias, Nefeli Mousoura, “IONIA” Orchestra and Choir, as well as traditional dance groups of Agia Anna, Lake, Mantoudi and Rovies.
This year, the educational activities (October-November 2024) that enrich the program again and which Megaro attaches special importance to are aimed at elementary school students: children experimentally discover the secrets and art of music through music. motor activities and storytelling techniques, exposure to classical music, and hands-on experience with classical and traditional orchestral instruments by participating in interactive games.
The project is specifically financed by the Ministry of Culture, which supports the implementation of the “EVIA META” program of the Northern Evia Reconstruction Committee headed by Stavros Beno.
The cultural program of Megaros is carried out in cooperation with the Region of Central Greece, the Municipality of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna, as well as the DIAZOMA Association.
