On the Full Moon of August this year, Monday, August 19, 2024the Acropolis Museum will present a concert of the group’s historical group to its guests Air Force, with well-known Greek and foreign songs and film music about the moon. The concert will take place in the front yard of the Museum at 21:00.
The Air Force Band consists of officers and non-commissioned officers, who are highly trained musicians who have studied at various conservatories of the country and have been recruited into the Air Force after examinations. The group participates in international festivals abroad and leads the parade of expatriate Greeks on New York’s 5th Avenue on March 25th. The group is led by Ensign (MS). Alexandros Litsardopoulos. On Monday, August 19, 2024, the Museum will be open from 9 am. to 5 p.m. like every Monday.
On that day, in connection with the Full Moon, the Museum and the restaurant on the second floor will be open for visitors from 8 pm to midnight. Admission to the Museum will be by regular general admission, regardless of the free Air Force Band concert in the forecourt at 9 p.m.
