George Lanthimos: The new Bugonia movie will be released in November 2025

He collaborates again with inspiration and Oscar winner Emma Stone

«Bugonia» is the name of the new film of the multi-awarded Greek director George Lanthimos and is set to open in U.S. theaters in November 2025, according to distribution company Focus Features.

The film is based on his sci-fi comedy South Korea’s “Save the Green Planet!” 2003 year Jang Jun-Wan. According to Deadline, Focus Features has taken over the film in America, Universal Pictures in the rest of the world and CJ ENM in Korea.
