Patras: The concert dedicated to the memory of Vassilis Tsitsanis

Last Saturday, in the full Atrium of the ROYAL Theater, a concert dedicated to the memory of the great folk bard-creator VASILIS TSITSANIS was held by the “POLYPHONIC” CONSERVATORY under the general name “Vasilis Tsitsanis, after 40 years”.

The concert was attended by George Papageorgiou, a professor of the School of Traditional Music (class of popular instruments of the Conservatory), who supervised the orchestras of the concert, and an orchestra led by a professor of the Monodia School (class of the Conservatory). Contemporary Song of the Conservatory), in a program of the most beautiful songs of the Trikalin composer, under the general artistic direction of Chryssa Pantazopoulou and the Administrative Director of the Conservatory, Efis Kavvadias.

Conservatory teachers George Papageorgiou (bouzouki), Chrysa Pantazopoulou (singing), Albena Penkova (piano), Teti Zerva (mandolin), Christos Tsailakis (guitar) and Nikos Skeparnias (guitar) also participated.

Students participated in the orchestra:

Accordion: Yiannis Milias, Bouzouki: Fotis Zervas – Panagiotis Mantzios – Vassilis Petroulis – Nikos Siaterlis.

The composer’s works were performed by students Nadia Zerva, Ilias Maniatis, Ioanna Prokalamou, Paulina Stavrianaki, Konstantinos Stavropoulos, Theoni Tzamakou, Chrysa Fotopoulou and Maria Hatjikonstantoglou.
