“Sweet Dawn”: An exhibition of great historical interest

In the context of the events related to the “double” anniversary of the liberation from the occupiers in the Second World War, as well as the fall of the dictatorship of 1967-1974, September 5-17The exhibition “Sweet Dawn” will be presented with 14 stories about the time of the occupation of Athens.

It will be presented at the exhibition Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens (Neoi Fournoi Hall) and its working hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

As the organizers put it: “What was happening in Athens during the Nazi occupation?” What was life like under the German boot? Who and how did they resist? And who cooperated with the conqueror? But, first of all, how did freedom come about?

Fourteen Greek comic creators challenge memory, develop knowledge, and encourage vigilance in the face of fear and hatred created by the horrific scale of crime.
